So, I have been offline for the last 2 1/2 weeks. Why? Well, that would be because the Samsung Hard-Drive in my not even TWO year old Compaq Desktop fried itself. I called Compaq/HP to get some help. Yeah...Next time I'll stick my head in the sharks mouth directly. It won't hurt as much.
So, I spend hours over about 4 phone calls to just get the stupid Recovery CD disk. I finally get a Supervisor. He tells me I am ONLY paying for SHIPPING/HANDLING ...NOT the CD itself. Guess who got the CD today? Guess who paid for the CD AND S/H? That's right. Me. I'll be composing an email for them most likely Friday. I want it to be scathingly professional while letting them know that they are f-wads.
Sorry. I'm pretty PO'd still. *sigh* At least I am back again. I have Skype again and can see my husband in Canada again.
